| Take a close look. This is the hood of a Scottish regulator clock and dial signed Robert Forster of Corbridge. Dating from around 1830 this would have been a floor standing clock used by a clockmaker to time all the clocks in his workshop . The dial is in 3 parts - an outer ring for the minutes and 2 inner rings for the hours and seconds. Now fitted with 3 seperate quartz movements to give even greater accuracy than the original antique. A real focal point |
