Here is the much sought after English Fusee wall Clock that used to grace offices and stations and private homes for a century or more. This particular one commemerates the regn of King Edward 7th, 1901 -1910, as you will see from the dial.
The name below the centre was probably a clock retailer at the time.
The dial has Roman numerals and as can be expected has had slight restoration.
The mechanism is superb and is key wound to run for a week.
The pendulum gives a familar ticking sound to the clock via the escape wheel.
We have regulated to keep perfect time.
Do check out on the internet more about these clocks which are becoming scarce.
