A very well preserved English Grandfather clock dial from the 19th Century.
These clock dials were painted by skilled artists and sent back to the clockmaker to fit onto the clock movements.
This one is in particularlygood order with old Roman numerals and a Country House depicted in the centre, possibly at the request of the owner.
We have now fitted a modern quartz movement to period styled hands to bring this clock alive again as a most attractive feature to hang on the wall.
